Just a few fleeting weeks to say goodbye to summer and enjoy some crisp, sunny days with the changing leaves before the cold settles in.
Here’s a snippet of what we’ve been filling our heads with as we enjoy the tail end of an absolutely beautiful fall season:
1. Fall Jams
Always worth a revisit to this 1970's gem. To curl up with a cup of coffee and get lost in a twenty-year correspondence between two friends who never meet is a soul-warming joy.
When Anthony Bourdain told the New York Times that this book was “incredible” we took note because well, who didn’t love getting recommendations from THE MAN? Anyway, as per usual, he was right.
If there's ever been a go-to recipe for us, it's this one. We make it almost every weekend. Marcella Hazan is a legend.
Natasha David is our cocktail guru. Her drinks are both elegant and surprising, and this version of a whiskey sour is a crowd favorite for cold weather consumption.

2 ounces bourbon (preferably Old Forester)
1/4 ounce pêche de vigne, Giffard
3/4 ounce lemon juice
1/4 ounce maple syrup
1/4 ounce ginger syrup

6. Harvest Moon
No fall season is complete without some unplugged Neil Young.
